Advantages: Good in-flight entertainment, friendly and helpful staff

Disadvantages: The extra cost of flying from Scotland

I have flown with Virgin Atlantic on two occasions and I would like to praise the high level of service and attention in economy class.

It's important on a flight of over ten hours to feel as comfortable as possible, especially when you're in economy!

The flight attendants were helpful, friendly and attentive. Drinks were free throughout the flight and the meals were surprisingly good! Each seat has its own back-seat TV showing newly released films and there are many other channels to choose from. There's also a great selection of music stations to cater for every taste.

At our arrival we were met by the representitives who kindly showed us to our stretch limo - which was somewhat of a surprise, as we thought we were to be transferred to our hotel in a shuttle bus.

The only gripe I have about Virgin Atlantic is the fact that they don't fly from Scotland. But the extra money and time spent to get to London to fly with Virgin is well worth it.
