A classy flight! (Virgin Atlantic)

We flew with Virgin Atlantic last year in October from Heathrow to Nairobi return.

This trip was our honeymoon and we therefore put alot of effort into making the right choices with all aspects of the trip. Now with me bing 6'3" and of quite a large build, comfort for the trip was very high up my agenda having neve been comfortable on a place before! We had decided that as it was our honeymoon we would splash out a little extra for Premium Economy flights, which upon researching left Virgin at the top of the list for comfort and quality!

When the holiday arrived we drove to heathrow hoping all the way that being a honeymoon, they may be nice and upgrade us to First Class - well they didnt! Something i turned out to be very grateful for!

We had prebooked seats in a god position on the plane and after the whole VERY smooth checking in process and a lovely breakfast, we boarded the plane and were shown to our seats. It was here i was glad we hadnt been upgraded because we could clearly see that first class was aimed atsingle travellers, with high walls between every person!

The seats in premium economy were lovely and very comfortable, and remained that way or most of the 9 hours so thats a big plus point foir me! The staff were all lovely and when they found out we were on honeymoon they bought us champagne and chocolates - very nice! Food and drink for the rest of the trip was btter than the average airplane so its all good!

The flight was comfortable and uneventful and we soon arrived at our destination, happy with our choice of airline! The return journey was just as great!

Overall i would definatly recomend Virgin Atlantic - particularly if you can afford premium economy!
