Advantages: great goody bag and in flight entertainment

Disadvantages: slow service and no leg room

I took my first flight with Virgin to New York recently, here's what I thought

First of all the good stuff: A fantastic goody bag is given to every passenger. It contains everything you could need for a long flight.A blind fold for sleeping, tissues, pen, cosy socks, breath freshner, toothbrush etc.
The in flight entertainment is also subperb. It has computer games, the very latest films shown on rotation and comedy. There are about 10 TV channels to choose from, I was never bored!
There's also radio, playing a variety of music catering for all tastes.

Now unfortunately, the bad parts; the service was appalling. I just wanted a glass of water, for which I pressed the bell, it took them 30 minutes to come. I tried looking around the plane for someone but there was no one in sight! I noticed other passengers experiencing similar difficulties. If there was an emergency, I shudder to think what wold have happened.
Perhaps the worst of all though was the leg room. I am very short, 5ft. I found that I was getting terrible cramp in my legs, as I felt so squashed. The person in front of my friend put their seat back and she could hardly move!

Summary:
