I have only been abroad twice and used two different airlines, one was brittania and the other was Virgin. When we went to Florida a couple of years ago we flew by Virgin, there was quite a few members of the family that went including my children who at the time were 11months and nearly 3. The journey to florida took about 8/9 hours and I have to say the staff were very very professional and very pleasant and helpful. We was all kept entertained by being served very nice food and drinks, and the entertainment was more than anyone could ask for. Every seat had it own tv screen so you could choose to watch any film you wanted and there was about 8 to choose from. They also had nintendo computer game on all seats, so as you can imagine my computer crazed partner and little boy were amused through the whole journey. My daughter was only 11 months old at the time, so we aere able to have a seat with a sky cot, which meant I was able to lay her down while eating instead of having her on my lap for most of the journey. Although we have only ever used the two airlines I dont think I would want to try anymore, We will always travel by Virgin. Unless anybody else has got any other good experiences with other airlines. p.s sorry this was so long Jo

- 26/07/00 I am glad you had a nice flight with Virgin (I love them too) but I just want to point out that your previous flight with Britannia was on a charter service and Virgin is scheduled, with an abyss of differences between them. So it is really not fair to compare them as charter services are usually cheaper and not as good as full scheduled services. |
