Worst flight ever, until the return trip (Virgin Atlantic)

Unlike the other cheap package holidays I have had, Virgin flights to Orlando leave at a sensible (ie not 6am) time of day. Check in was very smooth, and the stewardess even gave me a spare kids ruck-sack (cos I asked!)
The flight was full to the brim. The problem began when the person in front sat down, and their seat tipped back almost into my lap. The flight attendants managed to get it upright for takeoff, but soon after it collapsed back onto me. There were no other economy seats available, and the chief steward would not let either of us move up a class, so I spent 7 hours in extreme discomfort.
When I checked in for the return flight, there was no record of my booking, despite me having a ticket. Although Virgin advertise themselves as a package holiday company, they sell off any empty seats on a first come first served basis. After kicking up a BIG fuss I was allocated one of the "emergency exit" seats (ie the ones with loads of leg room but right next to the toilets). Trouble started about 2 hours into the flight, two guys behind me who'd helped themselves a little too often to the bar started to fight. The steward calmed them down for an hour or so, then one of them staggered towards the toilet and vomited and urinated everywhere.
The crew did their best to clean up, but the stink was impossible to cover up. Of course the police were waiting when we touched down, which delayed us getting off the plane.
I guess this could have happened on any flight, but it seemed to me the stewardesses were handing the drinks out even when it was obvious the guys were getting drunk.
