Advantages: Great Flight Entertainment

Disadvantages: None come to mind

I have flown to many destinations within Europe and the States, with many different airlines and I have come to the conclusion that Virgin tops them all.
I believe that a good airline is one who makes the journey go quickly, and makes the journey as comfortable as can be. I also think that you should be made to feel that your going on holiday when your on route to your destination as you are paying good money for this luxury, and how often do you get away.
On the way home they understand that you can be shattered or depressed and they try to compensate by chatting to you, making you realise that in all you have had a good holiday (there are exceptions).
The staff are helpful, welcoming, polite, and social-able. Many Airlines I have been on, the staff think they are better than you, which makes me uncomfortable to be thought of like that.
However I felt right at home when I was travelling with virgin. All the TV’s work, the Headphones are free, you have a wide selection of radio channels you can listen to if you don’t fancy the film.
The best thing above all is that when you’re landing, instead of getting sweets they pass you an iced-lolly, which I thought was ace. I hate landings I don’t like the feeling and pain that I get in my ears. The sweets help but the iced-lolly made that little bit difference and I could actually hear when I got off the plane.
If you’re going to book a flight I would book virgin.
Regards.
