Last week I travelled with virgin from manchester to orlando in premium economy, wht can I say I like virgin they have out stripped british airways for years especially for long haul flights. Virgin Atlantic have a modern fleet of 747 Jumbo's and A340 Aircraft which are very reliable. Me and my friend went to Hong Kong with Virgin Atlantic and it costed around £530 which I thought was very cheap for the length of the journey. I had to travel to London Heathrow to get this flight which I bought from the virgin ... Read the complete review

I was lucky enough to get a seven week break in Sydney Australia earlier in the year and knowing that it is such a long flight (24 hours in most cases!) I wanted to choose an Airline for my flight that I knew would deliver excellent customer service. I chose to fly as Premium Economy customer, this is a relatively new idea from the airlines, who ... I fly regularly with Virgin Atlantic to take advantage of the air miles. On the plus side, they're great with kids and the staff members seem to have genuine smiles. On the negative, they never seem to have sufficient stocks of popular foods and I've always been told "I'm sorry, we're out of stock at the moment". One thing ... Read the complete review

I flew from London to New York (and back again) in October 2008 and had a great experience with Virgin Atlantic. Check-in was so easy with automated posts at Heathrow. 3 of us travelling together took less than 10 mins from arriving at the airport to being inside all checked in and ready to order a drink at the bar! I recently had the pleasure of flying Virgin Atlantic from Gatwick to Barbados for our honeymoon, it's the first time I've ever been on a Virgin flight and I can honestly say it was a fantastic experience! The plane we were on was a Boeing 747 (named Cosmic Girl) and it was absolutely massive! It dwarfed all the other planes in the ... Read the complete review

We travelled Virgin Atlantic London Gatwick to Montego Bay in Jamaica, check in both ends was very simple and quick, I dont think we have ever manged to get through so quick. There was a group of 4 of us and we asked to be all sat together which the were able to arrange for us, again on both journeys. The choice of movies was excellent, with plenty of choice for all tastes, with friendly helpful staff and regular refreshment s offered I also found the food to be quite tasty as airline foods goes. I would definately use Virgin Atlantic again

Flew Virgin between London and Tokyo, and Hong Kong to London. Had been looking forward to it as heard good things about this airline. Service and staff were good. But had a major disappointment about the seating and leg room. They had placed the 'box' as part of the entertainment system right under the seat in front of me in the position that I ... I have flown twice with Virgin Atlantic. The first time was from Heathrow to Los Angeles. The food was great and plentiful, and the entertainment was excellent and seats were comfortable. Having a screen in the seat in front of you saves the usual neck craning to see some distant screen and the choice of entertainment was good. The flight was 11 ... Read the complete review

Along with British Airways, Virgin Atlantic has to be one of the most widely recognised airlines in the UK, and has millions upon millions of passengers every year. Virgin Atlantic is one of Britain's major airlines, and with good reason. They appropriately pride themselves on the quality of their service and overall product.
