Advantages: cheap, clean, on time
Disadvantages: none
I have just returned from a Trip to Poland and I flew with Whizz Air. I have to say I am extremely impressed and quite shocked by the bad reviews I have read on Dooyoo.
I must admit, when I booked the flights I did have doubts as I had never heard of Whizz Air and the name doesn't exactly fill you with comfort but for £40 return, I thought I'd take a chance and I'm glad I did.
The flights were on time both there and back, the planes were comfortable and clean with average amount of leg room. I wouldn't expect anything more from a budget airline. Snack carts worked the isles, staff were friendly.
Although slightly irrelevant, the planes are complete with a lovely fushia and purple design which is very eye catching! The interia is also very nice with leather seats and plenty of room in over head lockers.
I don't have a bad word to say about this airline and for the price of the tickets, I think I got more than what I paid for and would definately fly with them again.
I would place Whizz Air on a par with Easy Jet and highly recommend giving them a chance. In England, they only fly from Luton at present but hopefully this will change. They also fly from Scotland and Ireland.
Summary: As good as Easy Jet

- 18/03/09 I've not heard of this company before. Do they fly from Leeds/Bradford, Doncaster or Manchester as these are our local airports? |
