Wizzair branch in Latvia. I have been flying with Wizzair for year, at first everything went smoothly. I have been paying for my tickets with a debit card, but this time I have decided to use a bank transfer just to save some money because the transfer is a bit cheaper. In their terms they say that it takes 5 days to fully process ...  Read the complete review

Wizz Air. Having recently arrived back in the UK on one of many Wizz Air flights I have taken this year I thought it was about time that I give them a review to compliment the high standard of service I have always received from them. I first booked with Wizz Air back in January 2011 for an April flight to Warsaw in ...  Read the complete review

I travel with WizzAir a lot, mostly on the Glasgow Prestwick - Gdansk route, however on different routes as well, and whereas they do not offer a premium product I would recommend them to anyone. They are much more comfortable that their competitors (well, Ryan and EasyJet) have a modern fleet of Airbus A320, have very interesting ...  Read the complete review

I have flown once a month with Wizzair from LTN-BUD for the last eight years and I have just about had enough with this airline. 1. Why have they put their prices up at the end of 2010, other budget airlines have tried to become full-cost businesses and failed. Why should they be any different? They are in many cases more ...  Read the complete review

Hungarian airline apparently run by Mickey Mouse. Very poor even compared to Ryanair which in comparison seems to offer a Rolls Royce level of service. Both my flights delayed over 1 hour 30 minutes. Before I start, I have to tell you that I am a frequent flyer with Wizzair. I am Hungarian, my fiancee is Polish, every time we fly back home, we book it through Wizzair-it's been about 5 years that we've been using it, and travel approximately 5 times a year. We usually pay up to £50 for a return ticket/person, the cheapest one so far ...  Read the complete review

I've used Wizz Air 4 times now between London and Katowice in Poland and overall, they're better than other low cost airlines. Never try your luck with them, you'll get burned just like the other thousands (just google a bit); Reasons: 'hungaro-english' language (something like indian), "less people, less fuel" strategy (i.e. you book your ticket, if you fail to satisfy one of their conditions eg. arrive 3minutes late, you're out), no refunding (even if you booked it for the next month), "hidden taxes" (if you've already flied and paid by card, check comissions on your credit card history; another common trick is their airports are 100Km away from the city eg. Bruxelles - Charleroi, so you'll pay even more then with a quality company in most cases.)

As a regular user of budget airlines, I've come to expect most things on cheap trips to the continent. Like anything else in life, you generally get what you pay for.
