Clurbur85 Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LPL): ... are easy to locate from this area. The parking within the airport is quite straightforward and it is easy to pick / drop others off in the car. I also like the fact that there is a bus running directly from Manchester city centre to John Lennon Airport every hour - this is a great service for budget travellers that live outside Liverpool. Overall I d say this is a great little airport - I highly recommend it!...

Dangey2009 London Luton Airport (LTN)
... Airport is our second nearest airport other than Stansted but if I could use it more I probably would for my flights to Ireland as I think it s a great little aiport and quiet and friendly. It has certainly changed significantly over the years and like all airports I guess has got busier but it remains the quietest of the major London airports. When you get a lift there or a taxi the drop off zone is conveniently right next to the terminal so a very short walk over to the building which is very handy and if you have park your car there is a choice of car parks and one is extemely close as well to the terminal buidling. The car park about 12 minutes from the termi...

johnboyle007 Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN)
... experience is limited to Terminal 5 which is used for Scandinavian flights and full cost airlines such as BA and KLM. Budget airlines are located in Terminal 2. I arrived at the airport by taxi so it was a simple case of out the door and into the Check in Hall. There is also a good selection of public transport in the Arlanda Express train ( 20 minute journey from centre of Stockholm ) and bus longer but cheaper. Taxi to centre of Stockholm is about 450 SEK so quite pricey if you are on a cheap weekend trip Arrival at Arlanda is without incident we arrived on time straight to the gate and bags were being offloaded before the passengers got off. When you had walked...

denvyr Glasgow Prestwick International Airport (PIK)
... airport near Ayr is about 40 mins away from Glasgow You can easily get there by car, bus or train buses and trains stop right at the airport. Its a smaller airport than most, I have flew from here twice and never had any problems at all early in the morning flights so couldnt get the train but a bus goes from glasgow city centre early in the morning Ryanair flies from prestwick airport so lots of cheap flights avail to a lot of places. There is plenty of parking and hotels nearby if they are needed. Theres a couple of shops and a wetherspoons pub- restuarant and whsmith aswell for those last min mags and sweets currency exchange and cash machines. I found the st...
