Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS):
... is the Netherlands main international airport. It is found 20 minutes from Amsterdam, by car or taxi. Schipol is the third largest airport in Europe for passengers, and carries an extensive amount of cargo every year. I ve visited this airport many times on business, and never fail to be impressed by the size of it. There seems to be an endless list of countries to which flights can be caught, so i won t ev... Newcastle International Airport (NCL) ... of the busiest, fastest growing airports in the North, this is the biggest international airport any further north than Manchester. Flights arrive and depart on average every 6 minutes, and there is a large range of destinations including many European and American countries. Although flights to African countries are a little thin on the ground. Domestic flights to Heathrow and Belfast seem to be the busiest, but Stanstead, Gatwick, and various other UK airports are regularly served. Internationally, the most popular flights seem to be to Amsterdam, Palma, and Alicante. Although there are also regular flights to Malaga, Dublin, Paris, Dubai, and Tenerife Various airl... East Midlands Airport ... Midlands Airport is a regional airport located in Castle Donington in Derbyshire. There are flights available to many European destinations, as well as Egypt, USA (Florida) and the Caribbean with charter airlines. I have flown from this airport many times and it is my favourite airport mainly due to it s location, ease of access and relaxed atmosphere. Berlin Schönefeld International Airport (SXF) ... of friendly Germans, maps and automatic ticket machines you should be at your destination by rail in no time, (I d recommend Alexanderplatz as your first destination, which handily contains left luggage lockers for 4 Euros a day) ¸.*´¸.¨) ¸.¨) Departure (¸.*´ (¸.*´ .*´ ¸¸.*¨¯`*. After walking back under the canopy to return to the Airport (if coming from the S-Bahn), you enter through clearly labelled doors and proceed to check-in, although with most airlines this can be done online before you ve even departed for the holiday in the first place. The security is, as you d expect with the usual metal-detectors and X-ray machines, only difference I could spot from n... Read the full review: Schönefeld: My experience and review by Penguin_Cube |
