Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) ... I haven t been to the international airport for over a year, but then it was just how its always been, absolutly awful. I don t understand these other nicer reviews, maybe it has changed a lot. Arriving at the airport isn t so bad, there is always a band playing which is cool as you walk into passport control. The bagage area isn t very nice though and the taxis we are forced to get into are a complete rip off, like 5 times the price of normal taxis. Newcastle International Airport (NCL) ... fairly small airport has a suprising number of positives to its name. Firstly it s got a good number of European bound flights from companies such as easyjet, flybe and british airways. Secondly it s a child friendly aiport for families as there a games zone and great views of the planes taking off. Alternatively couples or adults might enjoy the three airport lounges for a bit of peace and quiet or the suprising number of shops on offer. The only down side to these are that despite being duty free there are still very expensive! There are some good little places to eat or grab a cup of coffee before flying too. Thirdly it s location is good. Whilst not in the centre... Read the full review: Newcastle airport-small but packs a punch by durhamapple |
