Marrakech-Menara Airport (RAK):
... fresh juice kiosks, snack bars and small boutiques for last minute gifts. Make sure you have cash on you because none of the shops take cards and there are no ATM s anywhere on the airport! Another quite disappointing thing was that the toilets only contain 2 cubicles so there are massive queues! Overall a pleasant experience, Menera Airport is clean and compact, you won t be tired out walking down huge passages.... Read the full review: Menara Airport- Clean and Compact by kat696 |

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) ... airport is by far the best airport I ve ever been to and I ve been to quite a few. Other large airports such as Atlanta in the US can come across as dull, clinical, and makes you feel like you re in a bog standard government building. Schiphol is easy to navigate, full of shops and restaurants, and even a casino! It s friendly to smokers like me, and had cubicles close to the bars to help pass away the hours spent waiting for your connecting flight. It s family friendly, with creches and play areas for kids. The huge walls are made of glass which makes things light and colourful, and doesn t make you feel trapped, like the kind of airports I mentioned above.... Bristol International Airport (BRS) ... terminal building is spacious with a moderate selection of shops and eateries (all as usual with any airport) over priced. But the sheer array of destinations you can access now from Bristol is mind blowing! When I was a teenager, it was the bog standard business man jetting off to Amsterdam or the package holiday flights to Alicante. Now you can go to destinations as diverse as Iceland (for a day trip), The Gambia, New York and even the Dominican Republic. Living in Somerset I always felt quite cut off from the World, but if I lived back in the area now, I could pretty much get to (or connect to) every continet in the World courtesy of Bristol International Airport.... Cancún International Airport (CUN) ... have been to Mexico twice and both times I arrived and departed at the Cancun International Airport. The first time I went to Mexico was with a group of friends for a wedding in October 2003, it was a fab holiday but the airport wasn t much to look at, it was quite small, old and didnt have many shops or places to eat. But when I returned 3 years later for my honeymoon it was completley different. I didnt really take much notice of the airport when we arrived because of the long flight and trying to get my luggage and go through immigration, but when the 2 weeks were up and we returned to the airport to go home it was amazing I could have quite happily spend hours a...
