well the old airport of athens was really not the best but the new athens international airport is one of the greatest airports ive ever been... really great i was very surprised!! At last: a great city gets a excellent airport. And when the metro (subway) is finished then u can be in athens in no time. The new Athens International Airport provides convenient connections from Greece´s business and tourist centers to numerous national and international destnations.

I think I must have flown into the old airport when I flew to Athens. Welcome to Dooyoo, it would have been nice to hear a bit more about the new airport but never mind. Good luck - Kay
