Disadvantages: annoying survey group

Hello friends,

I was in Barcelona last month, it was fantastic!
To my surprise, the airport is equally interesting too.

Barcelona has a very good transportation system.
It is easy to catch the shuttle to the airport. For a single way,
it is only Euro 2.60. no extra baggage fee.

when i arrived at the airport, i went to check-in with the swiss air.
it was quick and the officer is friendly.

right after checking in the bags, i was getting hungry. i went upstairs to
the boarding gates and tried to grab some food. I went to the local terminals
trying to get my last tapas treat. Bingo! there it is! there is a cafe serving tapas.
i was very happy and then sat by the counter. there is no price tag for the tapas.
the waiter and waitress did not speak any English. they seem to be annoyed when
i keep asking how much are the food. Then i ordered a coffee, and several mini tapa sandwiches. they are all delicious!! and to my surprise, four sandwiches, a bowl of salad and a cup of coffee only cost less than 10 euros! it is like eating a full meal in the airport! it is a very good price when comparing to other airports. i am very satisfy and happy.

Then i went to the international terminal, getting ready to on-board the flight. Along the way, you will find chocolate shop, gift shop, book shop, some of them are even tax free. i wish i would have known this earlier, so that i can purchase all the goods here. The shops have most of the popular items.

ok, when i arrived at the gate, i was surprised to find out that there were several large cafe restaurants. They are serving american food and sandwiches, no tapas. The decorations were really fancy and the food were relatively expensive. By now, I am really pleased with the tapas I just had. Before boarding, there were some guys handing out surveys for the passengers waiting to board the plane. The surveys were in the hole punch format. One only needs to remove the hole for the answer. Therefore, the floor of the international airports were littered with little paper dots all over.

Bye Bye Barcelona, I will be back!
