Belfast International Airport (Belfast Aiport) I flew out of belfast airport around four years ago, when I did fly out of the airport it was a bad time to fly out. The day before we where to depart to orlando the shoe bomber came on the scene! So the airport secuirty was put up. Belfast International is the airport I frequent most often; I have probably flown through here close to 100 times and each and every time I've had a pleasant experience. The airport is a rather small but not altogether insignificant airport serving as home to a number of low cost airlines flying to everywhere from Rome to New York. ...  Read the complete review

Its a decent little airport though everytime I've been it feels like im the only one there! The airport itself is located well for all parts of Norther Ireland so its great in that respect. We've used various car hire outlets there and never had a problem with any, get your keys, go to the car park and then you are away. I would hate ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Average, Far Out and Dated (158 words)

Belfast International was once the dominant airport in Northern Ireland. Back then, Bmi and British Airways flew out of there. Now, it's mainly lowcost airlines: Easyjet, Jet2, Bmi Baby and several charter airlines. For it's size (relatively small), Aldergrove is simple, easy to use and spacious. There is one main check in hall. ...  Read the complete review

Belfast International - Enjoyable experience. (138 words)

Belfast International Airport (BFS) is situated centrally in Northern ireland well away from the congestion problems of Belfast. A frequent bus service is provided for those travelling to and from Belfast but for others the car parking provision is excellent and arguably the most reasonable in Western Europe. The airport terminal is modern and ...  Read the complete review

Aldergrove (to give Belfast International its proper name) has changed a lot in the past year, thanks to a huge facelift in the main hall of the departures area (after security). Getting to Aldergrove can be difficult if you're not driving (its about £20-25 in a taxi from the city so i've been told). Thankfully I usually get a ...  Read the complete review

I used this airport 6 times in the first half of the year, and the new developments that have been carried out there bring it right up to date.
