Tegel what can you say apart from it being a brilliant airport to pass through . It is very compact the terminal building is circular so you cannot get lost. Taxi drops you outside the gate you check in and it 10 yards to check in and the gate is right behind it. Tegel is located 5 miles (8 km) northwest of central Berlin. A tourist office at the airport is open from 5:30 A.M. to 11:30 P.M. daily. Good taxi service is provided just outside the terminal. The fare is about 25 deutsche mark to Bahnhof Zoo Station, the main station in the centre of Berlin, and the ride takes between 20 and 25 minutes. The most convenient and cost effective way to get to and from the airport is by bus. An airport bus, number 109, leaves Tegel every 10 to 15 minutes from outside the arrivals hall. The bus route follows the Kurfurstendamm to the Bahnhof Zoo Station—and from there it's an easy taxi or U-bahn ride to ... Read the complete review
