i flew to Romania this year from Canada due to an emergency! my great-grandmother died! after 20 minutes from landing i already had my luggage, untouched, unopened.. the problem started at security border pass because i had my cellphone which costs more than 100 euros and my personal laptop so the guy was like "what the hell are you bringing? why didn't you declare it. and i was like okay.. and i handed him my passport with $50 inside so he'd leave me alone. i expected him to give it back and say no it is illegal i can't take it, butno he shoved it into his pocket made me a sign towards the left and in 25 mins after landing i was reunited with my ... The Old Otopeni: The first time I visited the Henri Coanda International Airport - also known as Otopeni - in Romania’s capitol of Bucharest, it was dark, dirty, dingy and very small. If I recall correctly, we had to walk the tarmac to get from the plane to the terminal. Crowds of people were milling about trying to get their passports seen to. Since I was with a group, there was someone there to meet us who took our passports and brought them to passport control.
