Disadvantages: need more flights

I really like this airport especially above airports such as Manchester or Heathrow. It is small but so easy to navigate and there is enough seating to go round! A problem i found when i went to Heathrow.

Now the low cost airlines have moved in it has made East Midlands the perfect choice for us - at less than 1 hr away it is also very convenient. We love flying ryanair from here and will continue to do so if the prices stay cheap.

The staff in the airport are very helpful and friendly which always helps. They actually seem to care.

Although not a massive amount of choice there are pleanty of food and drink outlets to use before your flight. These include a pizza hut, burger king, general food hall area and a pub. These are also reasonably priced and not overcrowded.

I do think that parking is a little steep here but i think all airports are the same. I would advise you to park a little further out for half the price.

Coming back in passport control are very efficient and get through the queue quickly. It is also not a long walk from the plane to the arrivals area - handy when its freezing cold! There is also a little Spar shop on the way out where you can buy bread and milk - very handy.

Overall i really like this airport and hope they put some more routes on this summer. Ryanair has done wonders for them and i really hope they stay. The new ryanair gates are also good and very efficient.
