Advantages: benefit of small airport

Disadvantages: tourists lots of them

East Midland Airport has seen a lot of growth over the last few years. I have used it regular to travel to Edinburgh Brussels and Paris. The work has been done to improve the terminal building and has helped to eliminate what used to be horrendous queues for security. TG for Priority Boarding with BMI .
The range off shops is good but you are forced to walk through the duty free shop to get to the main area. This gets congested .

Mix off passengers has changed considerably with lots more holiday flights. My biggest gripe is toilets are always very busy and smelly. East Midlands men please learn to use the toilet properly. The queue in WH Smith is always massive TIP buy a paper when you pass through security at the smaller shop .
Second gripe is quality of the food. As my flights are always early I skip breakfast to grab something at the airport generally tea and toast as everything else is tasteless and over priced

Car parking is very good short walk from terminal and quite reasonable compared to man y places
