East Midlands Airport is somewhere I have used on a few occassions now as I have family in the area and so flying in from Glasgow airport offers me a nice quick journey to see them for a few days.
The airport offers good access and plenty of parking including 20 minutes free parking which is something I have seen other airports not offer.
The airline I use to fly in and out of Easy Midlands has been BMI Baby but I have also seen loads of Easyjet check in areas when down there and I have always been impressed with the simple layout and clearly displayed information making the experience a lot simpler, quicker and less stressful than in other airports within the UK.
The security procedures in place are the same as all UK airports and you are able to get through security quickly with the staff there excellent and actually friendly towards you.
Inside the terminal building you find a clean, airy and spacious area which allows for you to relax before your flight and offers comfort whilst you wait thanks to ample seating and clear boards offering flight information.
So why use East Midlands Airport?

Positives:

- Cheap flights in and out
- Good accessibility (this is in an excellent area for many towns around including the likes of Stoke on Trent, Derby, Burton on Trent, Nottingham and more)
- Clean, airy and spacious terminal
- Well laid out with excellent information easily on show
- Helpful and friendly staff

- None

This is a good local airport that allows for excellent flights in and out from many towns in the midlands area.
