Express Review on Exeter International Airport (EXT)

Well run and efficient, yet feels friendly and human, unlike so many other airports which have a sterile shopping mall feel, and make you feel stressed even before you approach check-in.There is a good bus service from Exeter St. Davids via the bus station to the airport. The shops, cafe area and waiting lounge are fine for the size of the airport - anything more would be too much. The best thing of all is the upstairs bar with an excellent viewing area, where you can actually sit outside- just like the good old days!! (For those of us well travelled older people 40+). I really hope they don't change this area at all.I also actually love being able to walk out, whatever the weather, to get onto the plane - so rare nowadays.

I am an Exeter University student and the most frequent way i travel home is via Exeter international airport, as it offers a large amount of flights to the channel islands. Recently, the airport has welcomed some new aditions to the catering and shopping areas, and thus in light of this, the airport has improved ...  Read the complete review

Exeter airport is a very small airport, particularly if you are used to going to Gatwick or Heathrow. It serves a wide variety of destinations, including Mexico and Barbados, but most of its destinations are in Europe or the Mediterranean Region. There are also flights to a number of UK airports. When you travel through ...  Read the complete review

Exeter International Airport is my preferable airport to fly from, but that is solely to do with the fact that it's a 10 - 15 minute drive from my house. Recently revamped, Exeter airport is quite a relatively small airport situated around 5 miles outside of Exeter towards Clyst Honiton. Car ...  Read the complete review

We had a two week holiday to Lanzarote in June and were flying from Exeter. We live in Southampton so the distance wasn't too bad and the holiday was cheap so why not! I have to say Exeter was one of the easiest airports and we would definitely fly from there again. We booked our airport parking on line in advance ...  Read the complete review

Exeter airport is my favourite airport to travel from. OK, I admit this is mainly because it is the closest to my house! But also, being small, everything is easier. Staff are always friendly and helpful and there are no huge distances to walk between check in, departures and the gate. The duty free shopping area is fairly small, ...  Read the complete review

EXETER AIRPORT --------------------------- The chances are most of you have either a) heard of Exeter Airport and chosen not to fly from there because you thought only one plane a day visited, b) never heard of Exeter Airport or c) have flown from there and loved/hated it. I musty say I am the latter. Living in the ...  Read the complete review

Having lived in Plymouth all my life I find flying from Exeter is a much better place to fly from simply in terms of location personally. The airport is very easy to get to from the motorway and so you are not having to drive miles out of your way just to find it! The airport in the past ten years has really upped its game in ...  Read the complete review
