I frequently use faro airport, and I have never had any of the problems mentioned in the other reviews. It's a really nice sized airport- not tiny but not massive either so it's easy to find your way around and also kept very clean. It's well sign-posted inside, and the staff are helpful enough... I used Faro international airport last year when travelling to Portugal. It had it's plus points and its bad points. The main plus was that it was very well organised.
