Keflavik International Airport is Iceland's main airport and the place you are likely to fly into or out of unless you are coming from somewhere like Greenland. I arrived by boat but left by aeroplane, flying with Iceland Express to Copenhagen. Something that I noticed at this airport was the multitude of flights to the US, the amount of Americans in the airport and the large cars across the country with plates like "big boy" on it hit me that Iceland has a lot of similarities to North America.
