Advantages: Clean, cheap parking, easy to find

Disadvantages: The airport where queues go to die

I have used Liverpool's John Lennon Airport quite a lot in the past few years, it is very easy to get to (if you live in the Liverpool or Manchester area) and frequently has low cost flights on offer.

The airport is often well organised and always kept very clean. It is, however phone to very long and interlocking queues. In terms of the waiting times and the queues, it is probably one of the worst airports I have visited. I would advise anyone who is flying out from this airport to get there very early and skip the inevitable queues.

It is also quite limited in terms of shops and cafes, but thankfully after the hours you have spent waiting there isn't usually much time to waste before boarding time!

The car park is good value for money and not too far. It recently coat me just over £30 to park there for a 3 day stint, and it is only a 5 min walk.

Summary: Good for a low cost airport
