We spent quite alot of time at this airport during our recent trip to Tanzania as we had an 11 hour and 8 hours respecively. Firstly, lets get something straight. You are never going to find fast and efficient staff in Africa because this is just not the way they do things over there. They will take as much time as they like and don't rush ANYTHING so you cannot expect them to rush you through passport and visa control. The qeues are loooooong and you will be waiting a while if you want to get a visa. Just a quick point on Visa's you will only need one if you are leaving the airport, you can obtain a transit visa for only £10 or a Single Entry visa for £20. ...  Read the complete review

Our group of 16 followed. Eight of us got through and the member of staff told us he had ...  Read the complete review
