Disadvantages: Will it be the same in the future?

Personally I think that City airport is a very good and efficient airport, but I am not sure if it will be able to maintain the current level of standard.

City airport is in the East of London and the best way to get there is from Bank via DLR, you cannot miss it since the station is called City airport.

It is very compact, with one entrance for arrivals and departures, and still, it has a good daily volume. There are 10 different gates and they are used most of the time

Once you enter the hall you will go to the designed check in desk on your right. I use Swissair a lot, there is also Air france. If you fly with Swissair, the queue in business sis short. They always call the passengers in the queue before closing a designated desk, a bit like Easyjet.

What I like the most is the security check, which is really smooth, you just go upstairs and you are done. No more than 5 minutes, never had to queue.

The only negative side is that the airport still does not have business lounges and the lounge is actually quite busy, most people are business travelers. I always found a place to sit, but you have to look around. There are a couple of places where you can take soft drinks or snacks.

My only concern is how long they will be able to sustain this level of service, having used this airport for few years already, I noticed it is now getting more popular and the waiting lounge is getting smaller and smaller.

Summary: So far a very efficient airport.
