I do not like Luton (London Luton Airport (LTN))

Advantages: Easyjet

Disadvantages: Long time to get there

I do not like Luton airport. Partly this is due to the fact that living and working in the City, both City airport, and even Stansted, which I do not like too much either, are closer and more convenient.

The main reason why I do not like Luton is that it takes ages to get there and I need to take a tube to Kings Cross, then the train to Luton station, then the shuttle to the airport. When I go to Stansted, I walk to Liverpool Street and go to the airport.

It makes me a bit seasick to change to so much.

The main airline based at Luton is now Easyjet, in fact I have only landed or used Luton because of Easyjet.

As far as the airport is concerned, you will need to check on the lower floor and the go upstairs and pass SECURITY. After this you have the usual array of shops, like Boots, Dixons and Duty Free.

Summary: I do not like it
