Nightmares are made of this. I had the dubious pleasure of going through Paris Charles de Gaulle twice and I hope never to have to repeat the experience. I travelled from Munich to CDG, got off the plane and looked for somewhere to change my money to francs. Found one ATM machine with a queue of about 20 people. I decided to walk on further to see if there was a Bureau de Change with a smaller queue. It too had a long queue, and just one teller. Then trying to find the bus to the train station was also a lengthy experience.

On the return leg, my friend and I arrived in CDG, thankfully with about an hour and a half to spare. We were travelling Lufthansa but there were NO signs up telling us in which direction any particular check-in desk was!! Unbelievable! So, we just had to wander along until we chanced upon it. We headed for our gate and all the signs on the computer screens said our plane was leaving though a particular gate (for example's sake let's say G23). So we went there and waited and waited, and next thing there was an announcement that passengers to Berlin were being boarded through G23!! We went to the information desk and they said our flight would leave from G27 (for example), but meanwhile all the screens continuted to claim our flight was leaving from G23.

Nightmare, nightmare, nightmare.
