Advantages: Good value, Efficient and courteous service, Door to door service

Disadvantages: Mud in car

We booked our cheap Ryanair flights, but now we needed to park the car for four days. This is when you discover just how expensive parking at Stansted can be. The websites we hit for Stansted parking quoted about £34 for the duration and this was with a saving of £6.
However, using my AA membership we managed to get a quote for £24 at APH Airport Parking at Bishop Stortford Football Club. (I think it would have been £28 otherwise.) We paid online by credit card and were able to print off a parking reference number and directions to the car park.

Parking at a football club does not seem to be the first place you would be likely to choose for airport parking but we had no problems at all.

The car park is just off Junction 8 on the M11. You take the next left after Birchanger Services (where we stopped off for a full English breakfast at 5am ), then left at the next roundabout and 1st right onto Woodside Park and follow the road to BSFC.

We parked the car in front of the club and went to the members reception area. After our details were confirmed we were escorted straight on to a bus while our car was parked up for us. It was a short drive from there to the front of the airport.

On our return we phoned the contact number for the club once we had received our luggage and made our way to the pick up area where a people carrier arrived for us within 10 minutes. We were handed our car keys and dropped off next to our car which had been brought back to the main car park.

Apart from some muddy footprints on the drivers side (think it had been parked in a field in the interim) the service was efficient, courteous and hassle free. We never had to walk very far nor was there a lot of standing around in the cold.
I would definitely use their service again.
