Lviv International Airport is situated about 6km from the centre but as Lviv is frought with traffic you may want to give yourself a bit of breathing space when planning departures. A taxi from/to the centre should cost about 25 hryvnas (a bit under 3 pounds) but if you get an unmarked one it could cost up to about 50hr. If you don't have too much luggage, then you are definitely best off taking one of the busy marshrutkas which start off at the airport and head for the center, the number escapes me but I think it's 34. As long as you learn centr in cyrillic and make sure it's written on the side of the minibus, you'll have no problems getting there. This ... Read the complete review
