Hughe airport with a good communication to the city - Advantages: Well communicated with Madrid through the new Underground - Disadvantages: Is very big, and sometimes you might get confused

The airport at Madrid is an absolute nightmare! If you aren’t confused in this place then it’s a miracle or your very relaxed! We arrived on a connecting flight from Tenerife. We were getting another flight to Heathrow from here. We landed on time (flying Iberia) and we used steps to disembark the plane (the cheek of it!). We then had to wait about on the tarmac for about 10 minutes until a bus arrived.
