Disadvantages: British tourists on way back from Spain

I am from Manchester original and proud of it and used to spend a lot of my child hood here plane spotting. The airport has growm massively and with that comes a price or airport sprawl. Car parking is close to the airport a five minute walk but is reasonable £45 for three days . TIP dont use the multi storey for more than a day unless you are wealthy.

Signs for the check in area in terminal one are not very good and some desks eg Lufthansa are located on the lower floor away from the main check in area. Check in is usually no problem and after a short walk you pass through security with all the usual rigmarole Still find it amazing the stuff people try to bring through despite all the warningss
Iniside airside you have a good range of facilities usual shops bars and duty free. Also have a number of currency exchange boths again my TIP buy your currency other than at the airport. Two week sago I got less than a pound to the euro
