Advantages: Flybe lounge

Disadvantages: dirty and poor selection

I use Flybe from Birmigham to pass through Milan on my way to Geneva. I am always pleased to have passed through here as there is nothing to recommend the airport. Once through check in I always go straight to the Flybe business lounge so I can pretend I am elsewhere - it is teh ex BA lounge. You can get a drink sandwich and a paper and relax away from the dirtyness of the airport
Food choice is limited and not very good, staff is not helpful at best. When you do check in with flybe you are in an annex away from the main area right next to ElAl Israel airlines check in. When this desk is open you will see a large number of no nonsense armed police / army types. There are even armed police on the balcony - very intimidating and does make you nervous

Flybe flights are usually on time so as you can imagine I get here with shortest possible time
