I use Flybe from Birmigham to pass through Milan on my way to Geneva. I am always pleased to have passed through here as there is nothing to recommend the airport. Although Malpensa is normally referred to as one of the 2 Milan airports, it is not in the area of Milan, and it is 40 kilometres away from the City. Milan has 2 airports, Linate and Malpenza. I have recently flown into Malpenza which is about 45 kilometres from Milan on the North Western side. As such we are not exactly in Milan. Malpensa airport is situated approx. 40 km to the north east of Milan. It's Milans 2nd airport with Linate being the other. If you get a cheap flight to Milan this is probably the airport that you will arrive at as I did when I flew with British Midland.
