Another airport I use to transit through on my way to Berlin. The last time I used it was this week and as usual hassle free transit. Flight times were as schedule, transit through the airport smooth with no queues . As always airprot was quiet again majority of travellers seem to be business. Small range of shops with all the usual duty free, books and magazines etc

Limited choice in terms of food but what is available is adequate. As with current exchange rates food is pricey when you convert back to sterling. Had my normal bradwurst and chips at the restaurant it filled the hole until I got to my hotel in Berlin.
Good airport to transit through I would like Dusseldorf not like to be stuck there with a long delay because there is nothing to do and you can only walk up and down the terminal so many times before getting frustrated. Fortunately I have my Miles and More card and can access the Lufthansa lounge which is as with all Lufthansa loungs functional clean and quiet .
