... check in and go through passport control, and it wasn't very big. The whole room was filled with people zigzagging across the room. The waiting experience was made a whole lot better by being welcomed to Fiji by a Fijian band, singing the happiest son...more

When we arrived into Fiji after something like an eleven hour flight, we were rather disappointed to see that it was cloudy, with no sign of sun anywhere! As soon as we got out of the plane however the humidity hit us like a brick wall!! We had to walk quite a way in the open air to the main building, but despite the heat, it was really rather enjoyable.
