fairynuff2004 John F. Kennedy International Airport JFK: ... at JFK can be a Hit or Miss...I arrived here from Manchester on a Delta Airlines flight and this terminal is extremely busy in the Afternoon with all the European flights. I can Recall the Immigration Queue for non-american citizens as a large and an extremely slow moving one as each person is electronically fingerprinted. I entered the queue at about 2pm and got passed immigration by 4pm...I missed my conn...

Dexter01 John F. Kennedy International Airport JFK
... arriving at JFK Airport after a 8 hour flight, I find it to be a bit of a pain really. You seem to have to walk for ages to get through to where the luggage claim area is and then more walking to get to customs. I feel the walking is to prepare you for when you get into the city. Once you arrive at customs, it is a very long queue of people, all waiting for one of the at most 10 customs officers to check you through. We had to stand in queue for around 30 minutes to get through this bit. You are then allowed to leave the airport and continue on with your holiday. It s all a bit underwhelming once you get through. A small shop in the exit lounge and a few desk...

... ve been through Newark Liberty International Airport three times now and while arriving is quite simple, departing is a bit confusing. Immigration at Newark is a lot better than JFK, there seems to be more people on the desks to get you through quicker and you are not standing around for ages waiting to move through and pick up your luggage. Departing from the airport is a bit confusing as it doesn t appear that you go to a specific desk to check in, all international departures seemed to be dealt with from one queue where a member of staff supervised the self check in booth. We then had to take our luggage to be screened and sent to wherever it goes, and then we had...

TheChocolateLady John F. Kennedy International Airport JFK
... November 22, 1963 the 35th president of the United States of America, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, was murdered in Dallas, Texas. Afterwards his name become associated with many monuments in the US such as NASA s Cape Kennedy and, of course, the international airport in New York known as JFK. Would that I could tell you that this airport is alive and well, but unfortunately, I have come to mourn JFK Airport, not to praise it. The Complex: What a perfect word that is, isn t it? Actually, the basic idea of JFK isn t all that complicated. There are eight major buildings all positioned in a circle. Inside the circle are roads and parking lots. This wouldn t be all that bad if...
