Advantages: Small and easy to navigate

Disadvantages: Not very many shops on the way back home

Sanford airport is the other airport you will fly to to visit the house of mouse, Disney world Orlando. It is alot smaller than MCO airport. You are most likely to fly into this airport from destinations such as glasgow or edinburgh etc. The airport is very well laid out and easy to navigate, with each section well sign posted. On arrival you walk out the main doors and in front are the different car hire companies and travel agents desks. On our lastest journey we had opted not to have acar and proceed to the thomas cook desk who sorted us out with our prebooked coach transfer and one weeks worth of mear transportation tickets. If on the other you have not prebooked anything like this it is well laid out for you to be able to obtain things like this. It is about an hours journey to Walt disney world

On departing the airport there is not many shops, the duty free is pretty small although you still have the large section of perfumes alcohol and ciggerettes.

Overall this is quite a nice airport although more shops are needed to bring it up to the standards of MCO.

Summary: Easy enough to get through but for WDW it is quite far away.
