Newest Review: ... break in Paris. First the transit: the hall we arrived at was tiny and we were made to wait for a bus to take us to another hall to catch the connecting flight. Different passengers needed different terminals and when the bus arrived we found out it only went to certain terminals and not others. So chaos ensued with people pushing and shoving to catch the bus. When I finally arrived at my transit salon it was horribly bare and lifeless. There wss nowhere to get any food and the only little cafe offered a bottle of water at extortionate prices. My second visit for a holiday in Paris was much the same. The airport is bare and unwelcoming. W... more

Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris must be the worst airport in Europe. I can not believe that in this modern day and age such a place is still in existence. I have experienced it twice, once on transit and the other time recently when I had a weekend break in Paris. On entering Dubai Airport the first thing you notice are the huge clocks. Every other Airport I have been have them yes but they are made by Seiko or similar but in Dubai they have Rolex ones! You immediately think 'wow I have arrived' Dubai prides itself with being the best and quickest Airport in the World. The speed of which we went through the passport and then the luggage claiming, which is the opposite way to most countries was very fast but also very efficient. On leaving the Dubai Airport at the end of your holiday it is just as fast and efficient. The Duty Free area is great. Dont forget there is no tax in ... Read the complete review

Considering the fact that many people fly to and from the Algarve's main airport - Faro - You'd expect it to be a very nice, comfortable airport, with all the correct facilities. Here is my opinion on this waste of space:- CHECK-IN My check-in desk opened 35 minutes late, they have a poor check-in system and considering the amount of people who check-in each day. Well.... totally 100% complete rubbish. DEPARTURES After a long, agonising wait at check-in you HAVE TO GO STRAIGHT to departures, and there is just about enough there to keep a 4 year old occupied. They have a cafe there where you have to pay about £3 for a hot-dog, which ... Read the complete review

And before any of you start to get the wrong idea, I’m talking about only liking items beginning with those letters that can be found at Blackpool airport – namely shops and money - and nothing kinky. I once wrote an op on Manchester airport called “Full of Common Northerners”, but as someone famous once said, I ain’t seen nuthin’ yet. I do want to be nice, so I think I’ll leave my observations on the passengers who pass through here at that – I’m sure you can all fill in the blanks. Blackpool airport’s been there for years, but this is the first time I’ve ever been inside, let ... Read the complete review

I'm not joking - Copenhagen's Kastrup airport is probably THE worst signposted airport I've ever had the misfortune to land in! Kastrup airport is situated 6 miles south east of Copenhagen on a little island called Amager. The fact that it is on an island makes no difference whatsoever but it's one of those useless little facts that I like to trot out. Anyway, landing there is not a problem. I was flying in from Amsterdam courtesy of KLM and there was the usual problem of me arriving but my luggage being away on its own little holiday somewhere MUCH more exciting. The lovely men at the lost baggage counter were wonderful even when I ... Read the complete review
