I recently went on a trip to Germany, and had to fly in and out from Bremen Airport, using Ryanair. Ryanair have their own terminal at this airport, so my review will mostly be about this particular terminal, as I didn't get to see much of the rest of the airport.
The first thing you notice about the Ryanair terminal, is how tiny it really is. It has to be the smallest airport I have ever been in, and you can see the front doors of the terminal from the runway! It has one small cafe, and one small shop past the check in area. There is a selection of seating, and that is all. The terminal itself is very clean and tidy with no mess, litter or anything laying around. Even the floor was nice and shiny, no matter how many people seemed to be walking on it.
The exits and toilets were clearly marked, and the flight information was well displayed for all to see. The staff were easily identifiable and look very well presented, and they were very helpful with all queries, and they spoke good english too. Security check in seemed very good, with no stone left unturned on me or my bag.
The building from the outside looked very clean and cosy, as did the rest of the airport from outside. It looked professional and like you would expect an airport to look. There is a taxi rank right outside, so you can get a taxi very easily and there are signs in many languages telling you what is local and how to get there. There is also information on trains to other towns or how much a taxi should cost you to the main towns in Germany.
All in all this is a great airport, all be it small, but I have no faults with it and if you have to fly to this part of Germany, I do recommend Bremen Airport.
