Advantages: So many facilities offered for free

You need to Visit Singapore! if only to see this Fabulous airport. Believe me when I say that's an entertainment centre.
Changi has 3 terminals that are connected in a horseshoe type layout and all terminals can be reached without ever having to exit the departure side. You can choose to walk or get the travelators.
The one thing that you cannot miss is the Transit Hotel, they alllow you to book a block of 6 hours in their hotel room situated in the departures area while waiting for your next flight. the block of 6 hours is charged at $58 Singapore dollars which is about £20,it comes complete with everything you expect in a hotel room such as a toilet and shower and a really comfy bed.
What other Departure lounge hotel has a rooftop swimming pool?
Well coming back to the main airport and looking at things to do here for free, within the transit mall is a computer games room, and I am not talking about arcade games, I'm talking about 15 fully optimized Desktop PC's Complete with Online games of Battlefield 2 among other high performance games, and this is for free, yet when I went in there I was the only one, it is an amazing room to play in, the surround sound speakers on the pc were fantastic.

Not only do you have this but you get a cinema (Free offcourse) they don't play recent films but they are not old either maybe 2 years old.

Next to this cinema is an outdoor tropical garden, now don't forget we are in the departure lounge here, yet you can go sunbathe, or type on your laptop with the changi free wireless or have use the smoking area.
The Duty Free shops are available in all 3 terminals selling at a really good price.
There is also a hairdressers on the departure side.
Now Terminal 3 which is where most UK flights fly from is the most amazing terminal ever....it was new in 2008 and trully a sculpture of art. It also smelt like a new car with all them nice carpets. They have so much open space which is a nice thing with high ceilings about 80 foot high.
There is a large restaurant area below the checkin desks with a mini supermarket, and once in the departures area they have therapeutic beds for anyone to lie on, they have a hardrock cafe, and much more such as the computer kiosks near the gates where you can surf online again for free.
Singapore airport just offers so much more than any airport I have ever been in. Next time you go to say australia you should choose Singapore airlines and singapore as a stop off or just to transit but you be mad not to go visit the city.
