Airports have been 1 of the greatest issues of the century. Why??? As every 1 probably knows that airport is 1 of the 1st gateways to the country & if the aiport fails to give a good impression or image to the in-coming tourists, then what's the point of visiting other parts of it then, 1 may argue.

Yes, this is true to a certain extend & I fully agree that to have a good aiport is thus important.

! such excellent airport is the Singapore Changi airport whereby 1 lieterally can find anything from a to z. The service is good at all parts of thre building. Full air-conditioned & large shopping arcade can be found there with good ranging from a few pences to several hundred pounds worth.

Cleanliness & friendliness is a major issue in all airports & Changi has indeed won it very easily. Language wise is not a problem at all & they do speak English almost all the time though. Food & beverage is truly well served & has a great variety of them on the menu.

There's also a specially located & built smoking roon just for smokers & an internet center just round the corner. Not to mention post office too, hotel & special 1st & business class lounges for all airlines on teh upper floor of the departure arena.

Comprehensive time-table or departure gates are displayed as such that all may understand fully when read & tv monitors constantly provide latest information thoughout the terminal. The staf are fully organised & the building is securely guarded.

Man-made gardens can be found in both corners of the terminals ( 1 & 2 ) & a small exhibition area can be found whereby exhibits are on display. Restaurants & bars are all over the place & so are restrooms & phone boxes where 1 can make free calls locally & phone cards are available from the post office.

Therefore, Changi is worth mentioning & probably 1 of the best airport ever built so far. Needless to say about the country, is as good as th
e airport!!!
