Advantages: Clean, small and easy to get through

Disadvantages: Doesn't fly everywhere

Fantastic airport. It really takes all the pain out of flying when you go from here. Probably because it is only twenty miles away from my house. When we flew to Scotland we walked straight in, through the security no problems. waited for a while before the flight. But in pleasant surroundings, nice and light. A small coffee shop and vending machines, selling the usual extortionately priced goods but thats often the way.

We didn't have to park so I cannot comment on that, but there seemed enough spaces to be had. We were dropped off immediately outside.

The mainline has a station virtually in the airport, so is really handy if thats how you are going to make you way here.

On our return, again everything seemed so simple. There was no chaos and a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend flying from this airport, although I realise it doesn't fly you everywhere
