Brother DCP 145C

I do encaustic art paintings and sell them at craft fairs. I thought it would be nice to also scan my paintings and make prints of them into greetings cards, so I needed a printer that would offer low cost but high quality prints onto glossy card. I had previously used an Epson printer which wasn't too keen on feeding certain types of glossy paper. I'm pleased to say that the Brother DCP-145C doesn't have this feeding problem at all and I've had no problem when using a variety of different paper types and sizes. This is a super easy multi-tasking printer. It's not flashy but it does the job without any gimicks. it's a printer, scanner and photocopier in one. it has an little lcd screen which has step by step instructions on on to operate. the down side to the lcd screen is that it is a bit small and doesnt light up making it difficult to read the messages it is displaying. Its hasnt got to many buttons either...just the basic few to enable you to operate it as needed.
