If you want a reasonable scanner and colour printer for general use at a very good price then this is the one for you, not recomended for high spec work as there are not many functions its all very basic. The scanner is excellent it has funtions such as multiscan which means you can scan a number of items at the same time and it then will then crop and give you a number of pictures in one pass only. It is also a stand alone copier, no computer required ideal for when you need a quick copy, save you having to switch the computer on. The printer is very good but the main problem is that the colour cartridge is a combined 3 colour cartridge but if ... Read the complete review

Just a very brief review from me as all of the other reviews have said how good it is (which I agree with...there is a BUT though!). I picked this up when there was an offer on so the price of the printer ended up at around £20. A bargain. The ink isn't too badly priced around £15 which was half the price of Lexmark. The printer itself looks sleek, and it is quite large so needs a fair amount of space. I have had this printer for around 18 months and had no problems at all with it. The quality of the print for photographs is excellent and the ink lasts a fairly long time (much longer than the software that says "you need new ink" states anyway!). ... Read the complete review

I needed a printer for university so my dad had a look on the internet and found that this Canon printer had had really good reccomendations and due to the fact that it was also a scanner and photo-copier was definitely worth the money! I've had this printer for almost a year now and have not had a single problem with it! It's easy to use and prints out pictures etc perfectly with no smudges etc. It did take up quite a lot of space in my uni bedroom but my room my really small so in a normal sized office/room i'd say you would not have a problem with its size at all! and due to the fact that it had so many functions in one- the size didnt bother me at all ... I picked up this printer a few months ago as Canon were offering £15 cashback (I'm not sure if they do this regularly, as you might want to keep your eyes open for other deals). Anyway, it cost me a total of about £25 plus packaging and posting. I was looking for a small, all-in-one printer for home use - just general letter printing, nothing serious. The Canon has exceeded my expectations in every way. It looks great, is pretty small and compact (certainly no larger than other multi printers out there) and is light enough to shift around when you need to. It's easy enough to install and set up, although there was no USB cable included, which is a bit daft. ... Read the complete review
