Canon have done an amazing job with this photo inkjet printer. First of all, it's not just a printer. It works as a perfect photo quality printer, scanner and photocopier. First off, the printing. It consists of five different inks cartridges, i've had this printer since christmas and have printer alot of A4 photos for my photography course at college, the photos come out perfect and are definately helping towards the A-Grade i'm hoping for. The two black ink levels are still full, and the three colours on 4 out of 5 bars, and for the amount of photos i've printed, is very, very good. The scanner is of a beautiful quality. I've scanned in old photos, ... Read the complete review

I bought this all-in-1 initially as a printer for documents. Very important was that it could print over the network, which works very well through my router, which has a built-in printer server. Off course I also use it as copier, but it wasn't the reason I bought it. In addition, I would like to have a good photo printer, the scanning itself was fine, but I don't use it a lot. Plus points: + Easy installation on PC (also on the network) + Beautiful photos + It prints very fast + Pure scans + Ease to use + You can use multiple ink cartridges Downsides: - It takes some time to set it up the first time you ... This printer has been in my possession since the day that I bought it (6 months). This printer is still meeting my expectations. It is the best choice that I've ever made. I give it a 5 / 5. I recently tried to use ink from another brand. There are many reports on the internet that this does not work and that the printer settings must be changed, so that you cannot see how many ink there is left in the tanks. You just have to take a look at Google for all the cheap ink tanks. My printer recognizes the tanks as if they are from Canon, but they are not. Just buy ink tanks with a chip placed in it. The quality of the prints are perfect, even those from photos. The ... Read the complete review

I needed a new printer as my old Lexmark which was very cheap was printing lots of lines on my photos. I bought this All In One printer because of the recommendation in PC PRO October 2008 magazine. I am not very good with computers or machines. I had to wait for my husband to install it. I would never have been able to do it myself as I found it quite complicated. It has taken me about six weeks to learn all the different functions. Anyone more technically minded would manage to do it quicker I'm sure. I do a lot of painting mainly in watercolour and acrylics and I find if its a lighter painting then the scanner doesn't pick everything ... Read the complete review

I bought the Canon Mp610 as I needed a good quality printer for my new business, but also something we could use fro our family photographs - and i have not been disappointed! The 2.5" display is very useful for times when you want to make a copy or scan or just print photos straight from the memory card without having to switch on a computer. The only difficulty I have had is scanning photos to enlarge them - there seems to be some sort of mark on the scanner which then gets printed onto the new photo - but if just printing directly from a memory card the photos - even at normal quality- are just as good as professionally printed ...
