Printing, scanning and copying goes very well and with a high quality (both in black as in colour) You can print excellent with this device in combination with excellent photo printing paper, even after scanning an existing photo. The colour copies are relatively a bit better than the black copies, which has a lower grade of black than the traditional toner copiers.

The possibilities are endless, especially in this price range.
This printer is very easy to use. The installation went quick and easy. The instructions in the manual are neatly arranged (a brief paper guide of 40 pages and a clear but comprehensive guide about the software, are available in excellent Dutch). The software menu is so well structured that you don't even need the manual to know how to work with it. It is amazingly simple!
The design is modern. It is a fairly large device, but you get used to it very quickly. It isn't too noisy the really annoying sounds are missing.

I only have this printer for 3 months now, but I can tell you that it is very solid. I haven't had any problem with it in those 3 months; I can tell you without any hesitation that it is worth the money.

The ink consumption seems much better than the average all-in-ones. I also noticed that the Canon ink is cheaper than the originals of the competition. There is one black ink tank of 26 ml and there are 6 colour tanks of 13 ml each.

Does this device even has a disadvantage? The only thing that I can come up with is that I think that it isn't for those who need to copy a lot. Copying per copy is certainly not that fast and it cannot in series (each sheet must be inserted separately), but that is the problem with all the all in one printers on the market.
