Canon Smartbase MPC400 ... high-resolution, photo-quality (2400 x 1200 dpi) printouts at an amazing 17 ppm (mono) or 12ppm (color). For color output, Canon's advanced Microfine Droplet Technology creates tiny ink droplets, which guarantee fine detail and excellent tonal reproduction. And the easy-to-change single ink cartridges allow users to replace only the colors, which are empty, therefore to save money.

Canon's flatbed scanner technology is conveniently incorporated into the MPC400's compact and attractive design. The optical scanner resolution is 600 x 1200 dpi and can be enhanced up to 9600 dpi. Flatbed scanning means that even large books can be scanned with ease.

The Canon SmartBase MP360 is an excellent 3-in-1 printer, scanner, copier. I have owned mine now for well over 3 years, and I have not had a single problem with it, and have been more then impressed with it s results all round. The MP360 printing capabilities are outstanding. The printer uses it s Advanced MicroFine Droplet Technology to produce prints of the highest quality. This is evident when it comes to printing photos. I print all my own photos from my digital camera, on the MP360, and personally I have found the quality to be much better than Tesco and Boots photo prints. Bit ugly the Canon but works excellently for me. The large size can make it awkward to place. Prints acceptably quickly with good quality. Biggest advantage? Works perfectly with compatable cartriges from Cartex.co.uk. 99p for black and 99p for colour when you by more than 5 at a time. They don t last long but at that price ...
