Canon Smartbase PC1210D ... flatbed black and white digital copier and a laser printer into one compact machine.

With no warm-up time, the PC1210D can instantly copy up to 12 cpm at a high 1200 x 600 dpi (enhanced) copy resolution. Digital copying ensures that speed is not the only benefit. It ensures documents of professional quality, while the memory copying function allows the PC1210D to scan originals just once and then copy up to 99 pages. It is even possible to use 2 on 1 copying, whereby two originals are scanned and then copied onto one A4 page. In addition, the valuable electronic collating function simplifies business procedures still further, by sorting documents directly after copying.

Canon laser printers deliver the professional black and white quality documents that today's working environment requires. The PC1210D can print up to 12 ppm, at a professional print resolution of up to 2400 x 600 dpi (enhanced). And it can be used in a Network environment with the optional Network Adapter.

No need to change the toner or replace parts. Canon PC1210D combines the three most essential components into one unique all-in-one cartridge: toner, drum and cleaner unit. The Canon SmartBase MP360 is an excellent 3-in-1 printer, scanner, copier. I have owned mine now for well over 3 years, and I have not had a single problem with it, and have been more then impressed with it s results all round. The MP360 printing capabilities are outstanding. The printer uses it s Advanced MicroFine Droplet Technology to produce prints of the highest quality. This is evident when it comes to printing photos. I print all my own photos from my digital camera, on the MP360, and personally I have found the quality to be much better than Tesco and Boots photo prints. Bit ugly the Canon but works excellently for me. The large size can make it awkward to place. Prints acceptably quickly with good quality. Biggest advantage? Works perfectly with compatable cartriges from Cartex.co.uk. 99p for black and 99p for colour when you by more than 5 at a time. They don t last long but at that price ...
